Our Emerging Artists Programme Returns for 2022!

From large tapestries depicting life in lockdown, to explorations of disrupting mass media, Orleans House Gallery has been proud to showcase some of the most exciting artists within the first 10 years of their practice.

Now, applications are opening again for the 2022–2023 programme. We want to support artists in their early career across different art forms and approaches. Artists are invited to submit works to sell, works in progress for audience feedback and shows full of interactive ideas. Whether you are a solo artist, collective or curator we want to hear your ideas.

The Stables Gallery is a flexible space, and can be a space for experimentation and collaboration with audiences. Last year, over 75 artists in their first 10 years of practice applied with ideas for textiles, paintings, photography, film, sculpture and more. There are four exhibition slots of one to two months available from October 2022 through to May 2023.

Applications will open on 8 March and be open until midday on 22 April. If you have further questions about the programme or would like to have a non-committal chat with one of our Programming Team then we will be hosting a series of physical and online drop in sessions. Details of these will be announced on 8 March.
