Art Play Schools Competition!

Make It Your Shelf!

Orleans House Gallery invites budding young artists and designers in schools across Richmond, Kingston and Hounslow to enter our Make It Your Shelf competition for our Art Play exhibition opening on 5 July 2018.

Inspired by the bookshelves of artist Jason Taylor your challenge is to adapt and add things to your shelves to create your own design. We are looking for the most imaginative and playful ideas!

Jason works with everyday objects and changes them into different things. He has filled book cases with Lego, sponges, and tin cans. He has turned a book case into an abacus, and even a guitar!

The deadline for entries is Monday 18 June. The winning entry will win a workshop with Jason at their school!
